The Keyworker System
|
Curriculum and Keyworker SystemPrior to your child attending pre-school a keyworker will be allocated, but this is a flexible arrangement depending on needs and personalities. Said keyworker will work closely with your child recording his/he progress, supporting his/her development and helping him/her to achieve their goals. This information is documented and displayed in their individual folder which is presented to you when you leave the setting.
We follow the same foundation stage curriculum as nurseries and main stream schools, providing a rich, broad and balanced learning environment. Children learn through play following the Early Learning Goals.
The areas of learning covered are:
- Personal, Social and Emotional
- Development Communication, Language and Literacy Development
- Mathematical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
