Joining us
Children can be admitted to sessions from 2 years old. The child and a parent or carer will be invited for a visit before starting at pre-school to an introductory visit by the manager.
Admission to Newton Abbot Pre-school is open to every family in the community and to families from surrounding areas when places are available. Please read our prospectus, before completing and returning the registration form to our manager.
Arrange a "meet and greet" appointment to enable you to meet the staff and children and see what we have to offer.
On joining you will complete a registration form that gives us vital information on you and your child to ensure this is a smooth and enjoyable transition. We charge a registration fee of £20:00 (this is a one off payment) which covers the cost of a t-shirt, book bag and record book to chart your Childs progress whilst with us.

If anyone other than yourself, or a named adult is to collect your children please let a member of staff at the desk know as you will be asked to fill out a simple form. On a serious note if there are any family circumstances that restrict any one in particular from collecting your child please let us know, any such information will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
Our policy on sickness requires children not to attend for 48 hours after the last bout of sickness and/or diarrhoea. We also advise that if your child is feeling unwell the best place for their recovery is at home and not at the pre - school.
If your child is in need of prescriptive medication, this needs to be in its original named and labelled packaging. It is necessary to complete a medication form stating the time and correct dosage.
