Newton abbot Pre-school was formed in 1980, We are member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, and so adhere to the PLA constitution. Pre-school Learning Alliance model constitution, 2008 Version. Adopted at 2009 AGM.

The Pre-school is also subject to inspection by an OFSTED inspector and the current report is available on the OFSTED web site.

Newton abbot Pre-school is run by a committee of parents elected annually at the AGM held during the Spring term.

Newton abbot Pre-school is a UK Registered Charity, registration number 1023307

Elected committee, ensures that decision-making is in the hands of the parents. The committee is responsible for reviewing policy and practice, and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff. All parents are encouraged to participate in the management of the school. If you have anything you wish to bring to the committee's attention, please fell free to have a chat with any of its members, their names and photographs are on the notice board in the entrance, our committee is always seeking new members and helpers.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM), is held during the Summer term and Parents will be informed in good time so they are able to attend. See Notice and Letters for information on latest dates. Please consider volunteering for a role on the committee during the time your child is at Pre-School. This is essential for the opperation of the pre-school and is a great way for you to become directly involved in your child's early education and meet new friends
